Beer & Wine Tax Revenues Up During November
Excise tax collections for beer increased 7% during November, compared to the previous year. N.C. beer tax collections remain up 2.1% year-to-date. Table wine revenues increased 6.9% during November and are up 6.5% for the first 11 months of 2014. Monthly tax collections are a reflection of the previous month’s sales.
